The Texas County Fair board’s annual fundraiser dinner and auction is set for 5 p.m. Saturday in the livestock arena at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce Fairgrounds on North U.S. 63.
Tickets are $10 each, or $5 for children ages 6 to 12 (kids 4-and-under eat free).
Fair board chairman Darren Ice said funds raised will go toward completion of the new exhibition building and other general grounds repairs. Donations of new items for the auction are welcome.
