The Houston High School basketball teams are hosting their second annual golf tournament – along with a recently-announced silent auction – Saturday at Oakwood Golf Club.
Proceeds will be used to purchase new uniforms for both teams.
The three-person scramble will have shotgun starts at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Cost is $180 per team and includes green fees, cart and lunch from noon until 1:30 p.m. A post tournament award banquet with flight winner prizes will be held.
Sponsorships are available for the tournament at corporate ($500), hole ($100) and tee ($50) levels.
Non-golfers are encouraged to come to the course for the silent auction. Items include:

- Windmill from Dry Creek
- Deer blind from Orscheln ($50)
- Salon products from Mary Hunninghake
- Quilt
- Miller’s Grill gift certificates (two for $10)
