The Houston volleyball team is seeded fifth in the Class 2 District 9 tournament that begins Monday.

The Lady Tigers will face fourth-seeded Cabool at 4 p.m. in the first of two play-in matches. Cabool is hosting the tournament.

The winner of the Houston-Cabool match will play top-seeded Liberty at 6 p.m. Monday. The winner of the other play-in game between Licking and Sparta will play No. 2 Willow Springs at 7 p.m.

The championship match is 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Houston (5-23) concluded its season last Thursday night with a 25-17, 25-23 loss at Winona.
