Two persons charged in a Texas County murder will appear in court on Dec. 5 for a trial setting.
Andrew Vrba 18, of Houston, and Briana Calderas, 24, of Cabool, are set to arrive in circuit court for hearing at which time a trial date setting is expected.
Calderas’ case will be transferred on a change of venue to Pulaski County. Vrba’s hearing also will likely result in a change of venue.
A third defendant, Isis Schauer 18, of Houston, is set for trial setting on Nov. 7. Each is charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and abandonment of a corpse of Joseph M. Steinfeld, who went by “Ally” and planned to transition to a female, according to family members.
All are held without bond in the Texas County Jail.
