A new massage therapy business in Houston recently began working with customers.
Called “Loven Hands Massage,” the business is owned by Texas County resident Tracie Loven and is located in the 17 Plaza on West Highway 17.
Loven has worked as a massage therapist in Houston for four years at Blissful Nirvana Massage. She was educated in the field at the Professional Massage Training Center in Springfield and does continuing education in medical massage.
Services offered at Loven Hands include Swedish massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage, neuromuscular massage, medical massage, hot stone and reflexology.
Also working at Loven Hands is Loven’s business partner, Tia Blackburn. Blackburn, a Houston resident, was educated at Metro Business College in Rolla and worked the previous two years at Blissful Nirvana and two years before that at a massage business in Lake Ozark. Her specialty is sports and deep tissue massage.
Loven lives with her husband, Wesley (an automotive mechanic and body specialist), on a property on Highway UU south of Houston. She said her business does have one primary focus.
“We specialize in pain management,” Loven said. “Rather than taking your pills to cure what ails you, do it the natural way and let your body heal itself.”
