Lillian Loraine Haverstick Wallace, 93, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017.

She was born July 19, 1925, in Timber, daughter of William and Ella Bryson Haverstick. She Bill Wallace were married March 8, 1947.

She was a school teacher at Shady Grove and Cornell School, teaching all eight grades in a one -room school house.

She and her family moved to Missouri in 1956 and settled in Licking in 1974. They operated Ray’s Riverside Resort until 1990.

She enjoyed anything that involved her family. She spent many hours transporting and

watching her grandsons play baseball and basketball. She loved spending time and playing with her great-grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Raymond; three grandsons; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill and Kenneth Haverstick; a sister, Mary Ruth Karr; one sister-in-law Violet Voyles; and a host of other family members and friends.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Fox Funeral Home, Licking. Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time. Graveside services will be in Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery, Timber.
