The Houston Tigers – playing for the first time following a 10-day layoff – lost 57-43 Friday night at Seymour.

Senior Ty McCloud led HHS with 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting. Clayton Moore added 10 points and Michael Clayton had nine points and five rebounds.
The Tigers (0-2) fell behind 16-7 after the opening quarter. It was still a nine-point game at the half before Seymour (2-0) pulled away with a 20-6 advantage in the third.
Houston faces Gainesville at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the opening round of the Mansfield Invitational.
