During the government shutdown, General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital on Fort Leonard Wood will continue all inpatient, acute care and emergency operations.
Patients will still be able to schedule appointments for most outpatient services. Previously scheduled appointments will not be cancelled. Elective surgeries and procedures will be reduced or cancelled during the government shutdown. For questions about your appointment or available services, call the appointment line at (866) 299-4234.
The John B. Mahaffey Museum Complex is closed to the public and for visits during the government shutdown.
All Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation services, which are funded with non-appropriated funds, will continue despite a government shutdown.
Patrons will have use of MWR facilities, to include the Bowling Center, Davidson and Specker Fitness Centers, child care facilities, Outdoor Adventure Center, Leisure Travel, Piney Valley Golf Course, Pershing Community Center, Morelli Heights Bar & Grill, Lake of the Ozarks Recreational Area and the Auto Skills Center.
Exchange facilities and the Bruce C. Clarke Library will remain open.
The Fort Leonard Wood Commissary will be open through Wednesday, Jan. 24. It will close at 7 p.m., Jan. 24 and will be closed for the remainder of the shutdown.
