The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:
•Christopher M. Emerick, 32, of 14659 Boiling Springs Road at Licking, was arrested Jan 1 for having several active Texas County warrants.
An officer made the arrest in the Walmart parking lot after being advised Emerick was there. The warrants included a felony drug possession charge from last September, and misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and four counts of passing bad checks.
Emerick was taken to the Texas County Jail, where he was unable to post an unreported bond amount.
•A 27-year-old Houston woman reported on Jan. 2 that $1,000 had been transferred from her bank account to a PayPal account without her authorization. There are no suspects.
•Jennifer L. Holloway, 40, of 1159 Zimmerman Avenue in Cabool, was issued a citation for driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at Westwood Drive and Lone Star Drive at about 4:15 p.m. Jan. 6.
The officer made the stop after being advised to watch for a green Chevrolet Silverado containing two people who had threatened to shoot someone on Lone Star Drive. Once the officer observed the vehicle and pulled it over, alcohol was smelled and field sobriety tests conducted.
Holloway was taken to jail for a 6-hour hold period.
•Jerold D. Pursifull, 65, of 16144 Horsehoe Drive at Houston, was cited for failure to yield after a two-vehicle accident at U.S. 63 and Highway B at about 5:40 p.m. Jan. 10.
•Keeshaun Williams, 28, and Cody J. Clark, 23, both of 403 S. Grand Ave., Apt. 2, in Houston, were each issued citations for stealing under $750 after allegedly shoplifting at Walmart on Jan. 4.
