Two were hurt Saturday, June 23, in a crash four miles west of Cabool on U.S. 60. 

A project aimed at impaired driving netted eight citations and 22 warnings Dec. 29 in Texas County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Capt. Mark Inman said the operation targeted impaired drivers, along with other hazardous moving violations. Highways included U.S. 60, U.S. 63, Highway 17. 

Totals include: three speed citations, two seat belt citations, one child restraint violation citation, one non-moving violation citation and one uninsured motorist citation. 

“The Missouri State Highway Patrol is dedicated to removing impaired drivers from our roadways,” said Inman. “Our goal is to positively impact DWI enforcement and reduce alcohol-related vehicle crashes.”
