A vehicle crash east of Mountain Grove injured one person Friday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Travis Brown said an eastbound 1991 Freightliner driven by Billy D. Parsons, 69, of Mountain Grove, swerved to avoid a vehicle that had failed to yield. A westbound 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier operated by Michael C. Harvey, 32, of Mansfield, ran off the roadway to avoid a stopped vehicle on Business 60. The Freightliner then struck the car.
Harvey was taken by ambulance with minor injuries to Cox South in Springfield.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
