There were a pair of rollover accidents Sunday afternoon in Texas County as snowfall hit the area, causing slick road conditions.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Tanner W. Enfield, 16, of Raymondville, received minor injuries around 3:35 p.m. on Highway 137. He was headed northbound five miles north of Raymondville at 3:35 p.m. when the 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe he was driving began skidding, ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
Enfield, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Phelps County Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. The vehicle was totaled. Â
About an hour later, four persons from Salem were injured in a rollover accident at Hog Creek.Â
Rodger D. Arvin, 47, of Salem was traveling northbound on U.S. 63 when the 2008 Nissan Frontier he was driving went off the right side of the roadway, struck a sign and overturned. The wreck occurred at 4:30 p.m.
Arvin and three passengers, all from Salem, had minor injuries. Shannon K. Arvin, 41, Rodger Arvin Jr., 2, and Allena B. Crites, 10, were taken along with the driver to Texas County Memorial Hospital. All were wearing seat belts.
