A Success man was arrested Feb. 6 in Florida on an outstanding warrant charging him with sexual abuse of a child.
William E. Lucas, 72, of 10913 Bell Road, was indicted Feb. 1 by a Texas County grand jury on charges of statutory sodomy or attempted sodomy, as well as child molestation resulting from an incident on Aug. 6, 2017.
After being extradited from the Marion County (Fla.) jail, Lucas was booked into the Texas County Jail on Feb. 20 and is held on $500,000 bond.
