An officer made the arrest in the Walmart parking lot after being advised Bussard was there. A probable cause statement was sent to the county prosecutor seeking a drug possession charge.

An officer made the arrest after observing a dark colored truck pulling in behind Dollar General after store hours. The officer made contact with the female driver – Chappell – and asked what she was doing. She relied that she was going to throw bags of trash in the store’s dumpster, and the officer advised her that was illegal.

A routine computer check revealed the warrants. Chappell was taken to the Texas County Jail where she was unable to post $1,036 bond.
