MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

A woman from Licking was injured Monday when her vehicle left Highway AT and struck a tree.

Cpl. Travis Brown said the northbound 1995 Mercury Cougar was driven by Sarah J. Tow, 33. She was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston with moderate injuries.

Members of the Licking Fire Department responded, as did Tpr. Jason Sentman. 

Brown said the vehicle had extensive damage. Tow was not wearing a seat belt.

EARLIER: Emergency responders were called at about 12:30 p.m. Monday to an accident northwest of Licking. 

A vehicle struck a tree on Highway AT, authorities said. The Licking Fire Department was called for extrication equipment.
