A candidate for Texas County presiding commissioner has withdrawn from the race.
Wanda Etchason of Houston filed last week for the Republican nomination.
That leaves the GOP field as Glenn McKinney, Houston; Scott Long, Cabool; Don Gaston, Houston; and Bill Villapiano, Houston.
On the Democratic Ticket is Rick Dixon of Raymondville.
The incumbent, Fred Stenger of Houston, had refiled, but later withdrew.
