Houston police officers handled several investigations recently.

The following are excerpts from reports generated by the Houston Police Department:

•Rebecca J. Tune, 27, of 20698 Bee Rock Drive at Raymondville, was issued citations for driving while revoked and failure to wear a seatbelt after a traffic stop on U.S. 63 at about 10:20 a.m. March 22.

•Jason M. McGrath 43, of 300 Ozark St. in Houston, was ticketed for driving without a valid license after a traffic stop on Ozark Street at about 3:05 p.m. March 22.

•Brandi K. Masters, 35, of 902 Dooley St. in Houston, was issued citations for fourth-degree assault, first-degree trespassing and failure to obey after an incident March 12 at an Ozark Terrace residence.

An officer was dispatched at about 5:50 p.m. regarding a domestic dispute at the location. The officer made contact with a 62-year-old woman who lives there who said Masters had come to her apartment and was apparently on drugs, according to a report.

The woman told the officer she had told Masters to leave several times, but she refused. The officer observed Masters yelling at the woman and frantically rummaging around the apartment.

The officer told Masters to leave several times, and she reportedly walked outside and started stomping her feet and howling. Masters then agreed to leave, but said she had to get her keys from in the apartment and rushed back inside. The woman then told the officer Masters didn’t have keys inside, and she was afraid Masters was trying to take her keys.

Masters then came back outside and began to walk away. The officer told her several times to stop so he could see what she took from inside, but she refused and had to be physically restrained.

Masters was taken to the Texas County Jail and incarcerated for a 12-hour hold period.

•Douglas Barthemes, 46, of 919 Thomasville Road in Houston, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way and no insurance after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 63 at about 5:20 p.m. March 12.

•Matthew J. Ramsey, 31, of 16490 Hog Creek Road in Houston, was cited for driving while revoked after a traffic stop a Grand Avenue and Sycamore Street at about 6:40 p.m. March 24.

•A 30-year-old Houston man reported on March 19 that an Alvarez guitar (valued at $300) in a black carrying bag had been stolen from his truck between about 8 p.m. March 18 and 5 p.m. March 19. The man told an officer he had stopped at several businesses in Houston during that time period. There are no suspects.

•Joshua D. Stallcup, 29, of 19922 Lynch Drive at Bucyrus, was arrested March 22 for having an active Dent County warrant for driving while revoked. An officer who was aware of the warrant made the arrest after observing Stallcup in the Hardee’s parking lot at about 7:20 p.m.

He was taken to the Texas County Jail where he posted $450 bond and was released.
