Texas County merchants collected additional sales tax revenue during the latest monthly distribution compared to the same period a year ago, reports the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The tally from each of three half-cent sales taxes totaled about $108,940, which was up about 2.7 percent or $3,046 from a year ago.
In the first two months of the year, retailers have collected $191,239 on each tax which is up $16,969 each.
