The Summersville branch of the Texas County Library’s newly formed Coffee Club group met March 6 for a free gourd painting activity for adults.
The gourds were donated by Donna Canfield, and materials were supplied by Summersville Friends of the Library.
Creativity flowed as 13 ladies from the Summersville area, as well as from Tyrone and Mountain Grove, attended.
The first Coffee Club activity was in December, and the group decorated miniature bird houses for the holidays. The date and theme of the next get-together has not been set but will be announced.
