A crash early Saturday injured four teens south of Houston.

A Houston man was injured Monday morning in a three-vehicle crash south of Simmons, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Cpl. Terry Nelson said a southbound 2016 Ford Transit van driven by Colby T. Walker, 21, struck a 2015 Dodge Ram truck in the rear that was operated by Curtis D. Campbell, 63, of Mountain Grove.

The impact caused the Dodge to run off the roadway and overturn. Walker’s van later struck a northbound 2016 semi-truck driven by Michael W. Hoth, 54, of Marshfield.

Walker — who had moderate injuries — was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The two other drivers were not injured.

The Dodge and Ford were totaled. The semi-truck had minor damage, Nelson said.

The 9:52 p.m. crash also sent Cpl. Travis Brown, Sgt. Neal Foster, county deputies and the Houston Rural Fire Department Rescue Squad. One person was extricated from a vehicle.

Nelson said the three drivers all were wearing seat belts.
