Betty Jane Dixon, 79, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018, at her home in Houston.
She was born Sept. 24, 1938, in Houston, daughter of Tilford and Ada Crowley Dixon.
She graduated from Houston High School. She worked at various jobs throughout the years, lastly for Rawlings manufacturing.
She attended Nagle Church when she could. She enjoyed being outside, gardening or mowing the yard. She also liked quilting and watching television. She loved watching shows with John Wayne as well as Matlock and the old westerns.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Edgar and Charles Dixon.
Survivors include a special friend, Dorene Gilmore and her children, Glenna Smith of Georgia, Randy Burke of Licking and Lloyd Gilmore of Illinois; and a brother, Ronnie Dixon of Houston.
Graveside services were Tuesday, April 3, in Ozark Cemetery with Dr. Terry Snelling officiating. Services were under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
