Items seized Friday in a Houston Police Department investigation.

Five people face drug-related charges following an execution of a search warrant Friday, April 6 by the Houston Police Department at a house at 533 Hawthorn St.

Authorities said Friday (April 13)  that charges are pending again two persons.

About 52 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana, marijuana pills and a large amount of drug paraphernalia were reportedly seized at the home that sits on the northeast corner of Hawthorn and Bryan Street. HPD Chief Tim Ceplina said several police officers went to the scene, along with assisting officers from the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Texas County Sheriff’s Department.

As of early this week, three of the suspects were formally charged in the bust: Lisa D. Hayes, 37, of 533 Hawthorn Street in Houston, is accused of two felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, Christina R. McGowan, of 10553 Rock Drive, No. 2, in Mountain Grove, is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and Samantha D. Dennis, 37, of 13692 German Road at Bucyrus, is charged with second-degree drug trafficking (a class C felony), felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dennis also had a class C felony warrant for delivery of a controlled substance, along with misdemeanor failure to register a motor vehicle and no insurance. Another suspect at the scene, Jonnnie W. Clinton, 57, of 7874 Highway 17 at  Houston, was arrested for having an active class C felony warrant for delivery of a controlled substance and a class D felony warrant for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dennis is held on $250,000 bond, while Hayes and McGowan are each held on $75,000 bond.

Clinton was also jailed.
