An event to benefit West Plains-based Christos House shelter is scheduled for Saturday, April 28 at the University of Missouri Texas County Extension center in downtown Houston.
The “Christos House Paddle Party” (hosted by The Mustardseed and Co.) will feature vendor booths, a “paddle auction,” a 50-50 raffle and more. Vendor booths will open at 9 a.m. and the auction begins at 12:30 p.m.
Auction items will include numerous products and services from various local businesses and organizations. Lunch will be available.
Christos House’s mission is “to provide a safe place for victims of domestic violence to escape the abuse and make positive change in a supportive atmosphere.”
