Houston seventh-grader Karly Drake is the program’s new record holder in the 100-meter hurdles. She even topped her own mark.
Drake set a new team record in the event April 10 meet in West Plains with a time of 19.87 seconds. She topped the old mark of 20.15 set by Danielle Walker in 2016.
She topped her own record the next week at Ava with a time of 19.47.
Drake and PJ Mister, an eighth-grader, have both set and broke their own records this season.
