Houston eighth-grader Patrick “PJ” Mister broke the school record in the 400-meter dash in back-to-back meets.
Mister ran the sprint in 59.85 seconds on April 10 at West Plains to set a new program mark. His time eclipsed the previous record of 1:00.36 by Zack Gilliland.
A week later – April 17 at Ava – Mister broke his own record with a time of 59.60.
