HHS senior Grady Todd is a team-best 7-1 in singles play this season for the Tigers.

The HHS tennis team improved its team record to 5-3 with a dominating 8-1 home victory Monday against Liberty.

The Tigers won all three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches.

Kyler Ramsey, Kyle Mills and Elliot Clark were 8-1 winners against their opponents. Isaiah Buse won 8-2 and Grady Todd was victorious 8-3.

Todd has a 7-1 record in singles play this season and Buse is 6-1.

In doubles play, Mills and Clayton Moore cruised 8-1, Buse and Ramsey won 8-2 and Todd and Smith hung on 8-6.

Houston is two wins above .500 with two of its three losses by 5-4 decisions.
