A major resurfacing project on Highway 32 in Laclede and Texas counties began Monday.
Workers with the Missouri Department of Transportation are repaving the roadway from Highway 5 in Lebanon to Highway 17 in Roby. The work will also include installing two-foot shoulders and rumble strips from Highway Z to Tower Road in Laclede County. The entire project is scheduled for completion by Nov. 1.
One lane of Highway 32 will be open during the work, with flaggers and a pilot car guiding traffic through the work zone. Message boards will be in place to alert motorists of the work. Drivers are asked to use caution when driving through work zones.
