The Houston Tigers were shut out for the second time this season in a 4-0 home loss Thursday to Willow Springs.

HHS lost its fourth straight game to fall to 4-9 and 0-3 in the South Central Association.

Alex Castleman and Hunter Stilley had the only hits for the Tigers, who struck out 10 times. Nick Swanson and Connor Wilson had one steal apiece.

Houston committed three errors – leading to three unearned Willow Springs runs.

Sophomore Sterling Jackson allowed three hits in 5 2/3 innings in the defeat. He struck out six and walked four.
