Texas County’s unemployment rate decreased two-tenths of a percentage point in March, reports the Missouri Department of Economic Development.
The rate was 4.7 percent.
The labor force totaled 9,098 — of those 425 were unemployed, according to the report.
Other counties and their jobless rates: Douglas, 4.2; Howell, 4.3; Shannon County, 6.4; and Wright, 4.5.
The average rate in south-central Missouri was 4.6 percent.
