The Nashville-based country music group, Farewell Angelina, performed last Thursday night on the stage inside the Melba Performing Arts Center in downtown Houston.
With Lisa Torres at the vocals and guitar, Nicole Witt and Andrea Young lay down the fiddle licks while Lauren Lucas adds more guitar.
Proceeds from the concert (played before a packed house) benefited the Southwest Missouri Emergency Communication Fund, a locally-based non-profit organization. During an “after party” at Pizza Express, group members posed for photos with numerous fans and then signed 8X10 copies of the pictures that were printed on the spot.
