Members of the Houston City Council held a special meeting Wednesday to address heating and cooling issues at Houston City Hall.
Air conditioning wasn’t working in a portion of the building, and an upstairs section did not have access to heat.
A bid of about $15,500 was accepted by Whiddon’s Air and Electrical in Houston. The bid also includes installation of duct work.
Work is to begin next week, said City Administrator Tona Bowen.
