A Mountain Grove man was injured early Tuesday when his southbound vehicle ran off U.S. 63 about five miles north of Cabool and struck a concrete culvert.
Sgt. George Falterman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the 2005 Lincoln Town Car was driven by Charles L. Ray, 82, who fell asleep.
Ray, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries following the 2:07 a.m. crash. The vehicle was totaled.
