The Tigers made four errors – leading to three unearned runs – in a 4-1 loss Monday to Hartville.

Houston (6-14) has lost nine of its last 11 games.

HHS out-hit Hartville 5-3. But the Eagles took advantage of eight walks and the Tigers’ fielding errors to win.

Freshman Cody Allen was 2-for-2 with a run scored for Houston. Ty McCloud, Gavin Alston and Alex Castleman also had hits.

Castleman gave up one hit and struck out seven in five innings. He allowed four runs – one earned – and walked six.
