Monthly sales tax revenue in Texas County was down about 11 percent from the same period a year ago, reports the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The tally on each half-cent sales tax was about $66,000, down about $8,500 on each. For the year, about $345,200 have been collected on each. That’s up about 3 percent — or about $9,700 on each — for the year.
