The Houston Area Chamber of Commerce annual Fourth of July fireworks show is set for dark at the county fairgrounds. There will be no charge to park and watch (but donations will be accepted). A local youth group is expected be on hand selling sodas during the fireworks event.
Earlier Saturday, the chamber hosted Houston’s first-ever Independence Day parade.
An encore Mud Bog performance by the Mid-Missouri Off-Roaders set for the same day has been canceled.
