The Houston High School volleyball team hosted a rubber duck race fundraiser from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at the Houston swimming pool.
Cost is $5 for a single duck or $20 for five. Duck decorating is the first 30 minutes before the race at 10 a.m. The grand prize is approximately $100 in gift certificates and items from local businesses. There will also be silent auction items, snow cones, popcorn and drinks.
Ticket holders can swim from 10:30-11:30 a.m. after the race. The winner is not required to be present to win. Ducks can be purchased from any member of the HHS volleyball team.
