The Texas County Library system has announced dates for its annual summer reading program.
They are:
•Houston, July 6 – Aug. 3, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3:30 p.m. and prize party at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4.
•Summersville, June 29 – July 27.
•Licking, June 21 – July 19 and prize party, Saturday, July 21.
•Cabool, July 5 – July 26.
The summer reading program is comprised of three levels of reading and activities. When a child completes a level, they receive a prize.
The levels are ages 3-8, read five hours and complete five activities; ages 9-12, read eight hours and complete eight activities.
