Millstone Market

A retail store billed as a flea market offering farmhouse décor, antiques, collectibles, primitives and more opens this Saturday in Houston.

Located on South U.S. 63, Millstone Market is owned and operated by Brent and Cindy Campbell and Josh and Jennifer Cooper. Late last week, more than 60 people had already signed up for booths or wall space.

The booths and walls inside are stocked with nice, clean inventory. There is some new boutique clothing and numerous other new items (like McCall Candles, jams, soaps and furniture), but no used clothing or “junk.”

“We don’t really want to this look like a garage sale,” Jennifer Cooper said.

Many of the new items are made from repurposed wood and other materials.

“We love to take old things and create new things,” Cindy Campbell said. “We’re very vintage.”

There’s a family connection with Millstone Market’s ownership, as Josh Cooper is Cindy Campbell’s nephew.

“We’re excited,” Jennifer Cooper said. “This has been a dream of ours for a long time, and we’re finally making it a reality. We hope people enjoy our dream, too.”
