A Summersville motorcyclist was seriously injured Monday night on Highway TT at Eunice.
Tpr. Travis Brown said a northbound 2006 Honda motorcycle driven by James C. Leyrer, 34, failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the roadway and struck a culvert, ejecting him.
Leyrer was flown by medical helicopter to Mercy in Springfield.
The vehicle sustained extensive damage. Brown said the cyclist was not wearing a helmet.
