A Rolla man faces numerous charges after leading state officers on a Texas County chase late Saturday morning. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Jacob R. Wright, 23, was arrested on charges of felony resisting arrest by fleeing, driving while suspended, careless and imprudent driving, speeding, having no motorcycle endorsement, having no proof of insurance and displaying plates of another. 

A passerby reported that Wright was on U.S. 63 when he saw him travel between a passing vehicle and another vehicle in the driving lane. Shortly afterward, highway patrol officers gave chase.

Texas County Prosecutor Parke Stevens Jr. filed one felony and three misdemeanor charges against Wright: Resisting arrest by fleeing, careless and imprudent driving, driving while revoked/suspending and having no insurance. He is held on $250,000 in the Texas County Jail.
