Memorial celebration: Saturday, June 2, at Evans Funeral

Virgene “Anne” McVittie Pritchett, 75, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018, in Licking.

She was born May 29, 1942, in Detroit, Mich., daughter of Warren and Virgene Durham McVittie. She and Gary Pritchett were married Oct. 23, 1964.

She grew up in Clarkston, Mich., and graduated from Clarkston High School in 1960.

She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and was proud of her yard.

She worked many years at Ball Insurance in Michigan. After moving to Missouri, she and her husband, Gary, owned and operated Yukon Grocery. She was then employed at Walmart, where she later retired.

She was a member of the Eastern Star for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary; and a brother, Bruce McVittie.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Pritchett and Debi Jenkins; a son Scott; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial celebration was Saturday, June 2, at Evans Funeral Home with an Eastern Star Service. Cremation was under the direction of Evans Funeral Home.
