A Cabool teenager received minor injuries Friday morning in a crash in Ozark County.
Sgt. L.S. Elliott said the accident on Highway 160 one mile east of Hardenville occurred when a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup driven by Jackie A. Williams, 54, of Tecumseh, backed into a 2005 Ford 500 operated by Cassandra L. Springer, 20, of Alton.
Springer was taken by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. A passenger, Madison B. Metroz, 16, of Cabool, had minor injuries and went to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains by private vehicle.
Springer’s vehicle was totaled; the pickup had moderate damage. Springer wasn’t wearing a seat belt, and the others were, Elliott said.
