The Geezer Bowl returned to Houston High School this summer. The next edition could be even bigger.
HHS Eric Sloan and Cabool’s new head coach, Vince McCrosky, are discussing the prospects of bringing the two programs together for a Geezer Bowl showdown between the two Texas County schools. Early talks have considered rotating the matchup between the two schools the next two summers. The game would pit alumni from both programs against each other.
Houston held its Geezer Bowl on June 23. Cabool held one the following weekend.
