Marlene Neal-Schultz, 66, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018, at Cox Medical Center, Springfield.
She was born April 15, 1952, in Houston, daughter of Virgil Norvin and June Nadine Clark Stark. She and Alben Harry Neal were married in 1970. She married Warren Schultz in 2007.
She graduated from Houston High School in 1970.
She enjoyed quilting, reading, puzzles and growing flowers. She volunteered with Friends of the Library, the Texas County Food Pantry and made quilts for people who lost their homes in fires.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Eldon Stark; and a sister, Sue Bilderback. Survivors include her husband, Warren; six children, Nidena Liesner, Darren Neal, Kitrena Sanders, Jarrell Neal, Eric Schultz and Scott Schultz; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; four siblings, Sherry Mahurin, Christina Cooper, Erma Tyree and Ray Stark; and many nieces and nephews.
No services were planned. A visitation was held July 2 at Evans Funeral Home.
