Irving “Smokey” Franklin Blair, 76, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, at Cox Medical Center, Branson.

He was born July 20, 1942, son of Auzzie and Ruth Williams Blair. He and Barbara Thomas were married in 1961. She passed away Aug. 25, 1990. He and Donna Moore were married July 18, 1992.

He grew up in Missouri and California. He served in the Navy for a brief period.

He worked at General Motors in St. Louis for almost 28 years and retired from there.

In December 2007, he and his wife, Donna, moved to Theodosia to live at the lake.

He loved fishing, car shows and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Eldon Blair; and his first wife, Barbara.

Survivors include his wife, Donna Blair; five daughters, Denise Rediess, Patricia Blair Westfall, Catherine Thomas, Heather Craddock and Julie Werner; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Blair; and a sister, Verna Hyman.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with David Barbee officiating. A private inurnment will be at a later date in Boone Creek Cemetery, Licking.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Boone Creek Cemetery.
