A Summersville pastor was killed Tuesday morning in a crash west of Birch Tree, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
James L. Bradford, 60, was operating an eastbound 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad motorcycle that was struck on U.S. 60 by a northbound 2006 Toyota Camry driven by Marc W. Romine, 63, of Birch Tree. Troopers said the car traveled into the path of the motorcycle at about 5:15 a.m.
Bradford was pronounced dead at the scene by Shannon County Coroner Tim Denton.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the Midvale Church, where he was the pastor.
