Firefighters were called to a house fire on Phelps Street on Friday afternoon in Houston.
Several departments were on scene at the blaze, which was reported just before 2 p.m. The house is between Oak and Chestnut streets.
Houston, Houston Rural, Licking, Cabool and Raymondville departments assisted.
City of Houston Fire Department Chief Joey Moore said the fire was caused by an electrical short in a breaker box.
