James Lee Bradford, 60, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

He was born Oct. 16, 1957, in West Plains, son of George Emmett and Flora Beth Starnes Bradford. He and Sherry Lynn Grogan were married Dec. 8, 1978.

He was most passionate about his relationship with Jesus Christ. He was ordained at Tiger Mountain, Henryetta, Okla., on June 26, 2011. He followed in the footsteps of his father and was the pastor of Midvale International Pentecostal Holiness Church. He loved the church and its members.

He was employed with the Missouri Department of Transportation for 18 years. He was shed supervisor at Winona.

Some of favorite past times were the farm, going on vacation and riding his motorcycle. He will be greatly missed by his family.

He was preceded in death by his father Emmett Bradford and twin grandsons.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Sherry; two children, Amanda Bradford of Summersville and James Lee Bradford Teresita; five grandchildren; a brother, Doyle Bradford of Summersville; a sister, Waneta Cooper of Summersville; his mother, Beth Bradford of Summersville; and a host of nieces, nephews and his church family.

Services were Saturday, Aug. 4, at Midvale Church with Bishop Randall Drake officiating. Burial was in Midvale Cemetery under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
