A Licking teenager was injured in a crash west of Houston early Monday morning.
Sgt. George Falterman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2007 Dodge Caliber driven by Anthony R. Sawyer, 16, of Licking, ran off Highway 17, overcorrected and overturned at about 12:29 a.m.
A passenger, Skyla L. Dodd, 16, of Licking, had minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital.
Both were wearing seat belts, Falterman said. The vehicle was totaled in the crash just west of Highways 17 and Z.
