Two people were injured Tuesday afternoon when a vehicle struck another that was stopped in the roadway near Yukon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2006 Chevrolet Kodiak, occupied by Bobby D. Allen, 71, of Liberty, Ky., was struck by a 2006 Hummer H3 driven by Melvin D. Millard, 79, of Mountain View. The wreck was four miles south of Yukon on Highway 137.
Millard and an occupant, Leann E. Millard, 55, both received minor injuries. Leann Millard was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. Melvin Millard was to seek his own treatment. Both were wearing seat belts.
Allen, who was not wearing a seat belt, was uninjured.
The Hummer had extensive damage and was towed from the scene. Allen’s vehicle had minor damage.
